Learn to be a moderator!

League of Women Voters moderator training is coming to St. Olaf. This is an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and anyone else who is interested to learn from the League of Women Voters how to moderate nonpartisan candidate forums. The League of  Women Voters is a well respected and experienced organization with a long history of nonpartisan action and education. You will learn to develop a script, write and screen questions, think about “what ifs” and participate in a mock forum. The skills taught in this training transfer to many other life experiences outside the political and public policy realm.

The training is $30 for nonstudents and nonmembers of the League of Women Voters.
Students are free as well as LWV members.

The training is scheduled for Friday Sept. 26th at 3:30.   The training usually takes 2.5 - 3 hours so there will be a small break to get food that can be brought back to the room.
It will be held at St. Olaf College in Buntrock Commons (room number tba).
