All members were present.
1. Scott Sanes presented the School Improvement Plan for Sibley School. It includes more individual instruction in literacy, among other things.
2. Caroline Jones presented the Annual Report for Prairie Creek School. It serves 120 students, grades K-5. They will work to improve the math testing results.
3. Hanna Puschko presented the Site Imporvement Plan for Community Services.
4. Dr. Richardson presented the District Level improvement Plan – The district serves 13% of its students with specials education programs, and 20% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch prices. The district is making serious efforts to serve all students and to make Adequate yearly Progress.
5. Among routine items, the Board approved a grant request for the Minnesota High School League to provide funds to cover activity fees for families otherwise unable to afford to take part in school activities. The amount requested is $12,225.
