The Planning Commission held a short meeting at their regularly scheduled time. City Council will seeking two new Planning Commission members for this year.
First National Bank Addition:
1. Land trade between the City of Northfield and the bank is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map.
2. Final Plat for the 1.7 acre redevelopment site east of Highway # 3, west of Jefferson Road and north of Jefferson Parkway is recommended to City Council. Passed.
Clinton Heights Subdivision:
Recommendation for the 7.9 acre Final Plat parcel south of the Allina Clinic. Minnesot Department of Transportation (MDOT) will restrict a left turn from the area onto Highway # 3 for safety.
Passed.
The final item on the agenda was to recommend a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment to Maple Hills 2nd Addition Final Plot. The applicant is Northfield Housing Redevelopment Authority (HRA). The lots will be rearranged and separated into 2 parcels for twinhomes. Passed.
