Commissioners Meeting - June 26, 2007

This week the meeting 0f the commissioners was an hour long. The offices of sheriff, economic development, public health, auditor/treasurer, and planning and zoning all presented their business and requests for approval, and approval was received.
Not until the consent agenda was before them, with its last item having to do with the merit increase for the County Administrator, was there discussion. That discussion continued from the previous week. Commissioner Brown stated his reservations about the size of the merit increase for Administrator Weiers. However, all commissioners praised the administrator’s excellent work. In the end, a motion to approve the merit raise for Weiers passed 4-1. Brown voted nay.
