Observation Rice County Polling machines check
Attended by approximately 20, discussion and testing run by Denise Anderson, Rice County elections official. Both the machines used at polling places and the machine used to process and tabulate absentee ballots were being tested.
Thorough explanation of how polling machines work to process and tabulate ballots and votes. Explanation included machine security, security of absentee ballots and in person ballots, as well as following the ballot from voter to final tally at the end of election day on November 5, 2024.
All machines being tested today have been tested multiple times; today’s test was intended for public observation.
Time was allowed for questions, all answered to the satisfaction of the questioner.
