What’s on the Election Day ballot in November, 2024?
All voters will have these races on their general election ballot:
- U.S. President
- U.S. Senator
- U.S. House Representative
- MN House Representative
- Judicial seats
Voters may also have one or more of these races on their ballot:
- City Officers (eg: Northfield Mayor and City Council seats will be on the ballot)
- School Board Members (eg: Northfield voters will vote for 4 school board members)
- Township Officers
- Local ballot questions
- County Commissioners (eg: both County Commissioner seats representing Northfield will be on the ballot)

important Rice County public meeting dates dealing with elections
Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend these public events, which are mechanisms for ensuring transparency about and the integrity of our election systems. The meetings where officials will do a hand-count review of select township and precinct election results are listed in bold. All take place in the Rice County Government Services Building Training Room, 320 Third St. NW, Faribault, MN.

- Friday, June 21, 2024, 8:30 am: Public Accuracy Test, Omni Machine (1-2 hours)
- Monday, July 22, 2024, 8:30 am: Public Accuracy Test, Voting Machines (1-2 hours)
- Friday, August 16, 2024, 8:30 am: Primary Results Canvass Meeting (1-2 hours)
- Thursday, September 19, 2024, 1:00 pm: Public Accuracy Test, Omni Machine (1-2 hours)
- Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 1:00 pm: Public Accuracy Test, Voting Machines (1-2 hours)
- Friday, November 8, 8:30 am: General Election Canvass Meeting (1-2 hours)
- Monday, November 18, 8:30 am: Post-Election Review (3-4 hours)
