Northfield-Cannon Falls hosted a web presentation in conjunction with
the Northfield High School Environmental Club on December 7, 2021.
Two students Julia and Amelia presented highlights from the
Walz Climate Report Card. Not only was it a great presentation from young
adults with a tremendous grasp on environmental issues it was also a
gathering of people with diverse backgrounds and knowledge. Some
attendees were students, others were from environmental groups and
the Northfield-Cannon Falls League. However, we all had an interest in
the environment and an understanding that no matter where an
environmental issue occurs. it will eventually affect us all. Whether that
is the water we drink, the air we breathe, or the food grown to sustain
us.
