Call to order/Pledge of Allegiance
Chair Hoisington challenged everyone in the room to call their senators to demand the end of the government shutdown.
Approval of agenda and minutes from regular mtg 10/14/25.
Property Tax and Elections: Denise Anderson: approval of temporary malt liquor license for Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville. Motion approved.
Veterans Services: Susie Rook. Operation Green Light Proclamation, to support veterans. November 4-11, 2025, to recognize all those who have served in the armed forces and to show support by displaying a green light in businesses and residences. Motion approved
Environmental Services: Julie Runkel. 2026 Solid waste fees set. Motion approved
Community Health Board: Deb Purfeerst C and TC Grant Contract Amendment. Funding ($128, 604) for variety of services conducted by Rice Cty for kids 0-20 yr, as per the 3-yr grant. The amendment due to calculation per year of the grant for the funding numbers. Motion approved.
Social Services: Mike Johnson. Rice County Burial policy for indigent persons residing in Rice Cty. Previously discussed. Motion approved.
Highway: Dennis Lubbe. Award of contract for CSAH 19 slope repair.
Motion approved.
Drainage Authority: Jarett Spitzack. Drainage system repair and maintenance policy updated, previously updated nine yr ago. Not asking for approval today, will bring for approval at the December 16 meeting.
Administration: Sara Folsted. Consent agenda, approved.
Declaration of surplus property, formality, mostly furniture. Motion approved.
