In response to recent events in Minnesota, a group of young people came together with the Northfield and Cannon Falls League of Women Voters to better understand more about police interactions with the public and current police policy in Northfield. They put together a survey regarding the community’s experiences with and opinions of the Northfield Police Department. The results of this survey will drive a discussion about police policies and policing models that would be best for our community at a community zoom meeting on Thursday, November 19th at 7 pm—more details about that to come. Personal information will not be shared and you can answer whichever questions you feel comfortable with. Feel free to share this with anyone you know who would be interested. We will be accepting survey responses up until Monday, November 16.
